While editing any configuration file please check if jelastic lines as shown in screenshot is present or not.
If Jelastic lines are present then remove those two lines and then make the required changes, save and restart the services.

In this way, if you want to edit any other config files for that check and remove these two jelastic lines then save and restart the required service.
